St. Thomas is known for many things: rich history, otherworldly beauty, and, of course, Carnival.
Locals and visitors lucky enough to see this celebration up close get to experience one of the truly great traditions of the Western Hemisphere – a raucous and colorful bacchanal made all the more spectacular by its small-town, island feel.
