Travel professionals love to share their favorite secluded beaches from time to time. Inevitably one or more beaches from the U.S. Virgin Islands makes the cut – testament, perhaps, to the staggering natural beauty we enjoy here every day.
This recent article in USA Today includes our own Trunk Bay on a list that spans the globe:
9. Trunk Bay, St. John
St. John is the smallest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and 60 percent of the island is a U.S. National Park. That’s not to say there aren’t accessible beaches, though, and one of the best in the USVI is Trunk Bay, within the park. For even more fun, don your snorkel and mask and follow the snorkeling trail!
Snorkeling off the side of a boat rental is the best way to see and enjoy the waters of St. John, which is why Sonic Charters proudly skippers the most popular rental boats in the region. With expert captains, effortless dive doors, and padded seating everywhere, our boats continue to delight visitors from around the world.
