SEE THE SIGHTS OF ST. JOHN
We are proud to be the premiere provider of boat rentals on St. John, not least because our exclusive private tours let us share some of the most beautiful and unexpected sights on the island. If you’re searching for good advice on the perfect St. John itinerary, read on for some great suggestions about the sights of St. John.
TRUNK BAY
Trunk Bay is widely renowned for its white sand, pristine vistas, and unspoiled waters. But perhaps its best-known attraction is the Underwater Snorkeling Trail, filled with marine wildlife (including tunicates!) and vibrant coral. Trunk Bay regularly makes the shortlist of the world’s best beaches.
WATERLEMON CAY
Snorkeling heaven. This hugely popular stretch of sand includes a surfeit of mineral finds such as cobblestones and brilliant sand, as well as endless underwater views of coral, tangs, turtles, and tropical fish.
SOLOMON BAY
Secluded wonderment! One of the great things about Solomon Bay is its remote location: it’s a hike to get there by land, but if course everything’s easier in a rental boat. Solomon Bay’s water is warm and shallow, and the snorkeling brings rewards such as French Grunts.
CRUZ BAY
The busiest port on St. John, Cruz Bay is the picturesque symbol that most visitors first encounter. It is more developed than most of the island, which means you get a trade-off – the bay is less pristine, but it’s also more active with plenty of shops, bars and dining locales.
HONEYMOON BAY
Lovely and playful, Honeymoon Bay is aptly named. Shallow water rewards snorkelers with some of the most brilliantly lit corals and rays in the USVI, and plenty of rentable recreation means you can always find something fun to do in the warm ocean water.
HAULOVER BAY
Sick of white sand? Try this more textured beach, which includes a smoothly pebbled seafloor, dozens of dazzling sea fans, and an explosion of fish including puffers, squid, wrappers and more. Strap on the snorkel gear to see sponges and anemones while you’re here!
TURTLE BAY
Another quiet and beautiful choice, named for its abundance of turtles, rays and grand wildlife. Visitors here can swim with giant sea creatures and soak up the sun on one of the more secluded beaches on St. John’s Hawksnest Point.
