If someone doesn’t have a passport or you don’t want to deal with the BVI customs fees, it’s ok! Doing a full day charter in the US Virgin Islands is second to none. People that book charters with us often wonder where they’ll eat lunch and get their frozen margarita but not to worry! While being the smallest of the 3 US Virgin Islands, St. John sure holds its own and is known for having some of the best beach front restaurants and bars around. Our captains will pull the boat right up to the beach so you can hop off and head in to check out the scene, without even getting your clothes wet! Most of our favorite itineraries include a mid-day or end of the day stop in Cruz Bay to grab lunch and a few happy hour cocktails. There are too many to list but here are some of our guests favorites:

High Tide Bar & Seafood Grill

High Tide is located right next to the ferry dock on the waterfront. Perfect place to grab a bite to eat, watch the sunset and keep an eye on the boat so you’re ready when it’s time to leave.

Woody’s Seafood Saloon

Woody’s is located right up the road from the waterfront, less than a minute walk. This place doesn’t have a view but they do have a killer happy hour! Every day from 3-6 they offer $1 beers, $1 well drinks and $1 off all drinks.

Joe’s Rum Hut

Another great happy hour and sunset-watching spot! Joe’s is located right down the beach from High Tide. With a full menu and a beautiful view, it’s a great place to take a time out from the sun and grab a bite to eat. They also have happy hour from 4-6 with $3 “You Call Its.” Can’t beat that…
