Their passion for the sea was matched only by their love for their dog, Sonic, whose boundless energy and zest for life became the inspiration for what would become one of the the most sought-after charter companies in the region.

From the very beginning, Morgan and Carrie knew they wanted to offer something different. They didn’t just want to provide transportation- they wanted to create experiences. Experiences that would leave their guests with stories to tell, memories to treasure and a deep connection to the islands they so dearly love. And so, Sonic Charters was born, named in honor of their beloved dog who embodied the spirit of adventure that the company now stands for.

As Sonic Charters grew, so did it’s reputation for offering unparalleled service and unforgettable experiences. What started as a small operation quickly became the go-to choice for travelers seeing an authentic, personalized adventure in the Virgin Islands. Growing from one boat in 2013 to a fleet of 7 today, Sonic has carefully built its fleet with the guest experience in mind. After building their brand in St Thomas and St John over the past ten years, Sonic has set their sights on a home base in Tortola and will now be able to serve our loyal customers throughout all of the US and British Virgin Islands.
