Capture The Beautiful Virgin Islands!

The crew of Sonic Charters, the preferred St. Thomas boat rental company, can’t wait to show you the beauty of the Virgin Islands!

In fact, we know that you will be so blown away by the beauty of the islands that you will want to make your friends jealous by posting photos of your trip on social media.

Because we care about our customers, we want to give you a few pointers on how to remain safe while sharing images on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Here are a few precautions to consider.

1. Don’t post photos of your travel documents.

We know you are excited to travel, but posting photos of your boarding pass or passport is a bad idea. Even if you have locked down your social media accounts so only your true friends can access your images, you can’t be sure that your friends’ accounts are secure.

Besides, if your goal is to make your friends jealous, you won’t be as effective by taking photos of documents. Instead, post videos of you relaxing on the deck of one of our luxury yachts. That would do the trick.

2. Check your social media settings.

How long has it been since you have checked your settings on your social media accounts? Make sure you do it before you travel next. Check to be sure the location services are turned off and that your account is not “public.”

3. Wait until you get home to post photos and videos.

We were hoping you could share photos and videos of your adventures with Sonic Charters, but to stay safe, wait to share those images until you get home.

Contact Sonic Charters to let us know when you will be visiting our beautiful islands. We can’t wait to take you on your next travel adventure.
