The Reason Travel Writers Love the USVI
Do you have a favorite travel blogger or reviewer? Check out what they have to say about the U.S. Virgin Islands. We bet that you will find these phrases repeated in every review:
“Best place to escape the winter weather . . .”
“Less commercial than other island destinations . . . ”
“Less crowded beaches . . .”
“One of the best places for snorkeling in the world . . . “
One of Vogue Magazine’s travel writers got specific in his review from a few years ago. He said, “If you aren’t looking to see and be seen while on vacation this time around, but still want stunning beaches and sunshine, try St. John . . . We suggest spending plenty of time in Coral Bay on the eastern side of the island, which is more laid-back and less commercial. A few days here, and you’ll forget what snow even feels like.”
While this travel writer is spot on in his description of Coral Bay, we would add a couple of things in his review. First, we think you should also spend time on St. Thomas. Each of the islands has its own unique feel, and we believe it would be a mistake not to check out all of them.
And, we think that instead of spending all your time on land, you should get out into the water to get an up-close view of what makes our part of the world so special. Book a rental boat with Sonic Charter today, so you can see what all those travel bloggers love about the USVI.
