Norman Island has often been thought of as the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island and it has lived up to it’s reputation for all of our charter guests. The Caves at Norman Island are a snorkeler’s paradise and the best way to experience this is with Sonic Charters, the #1 St. Thomas boat rental. Under the crystal clear water, you’ll spot tons of tropical fish, cup corals, lots of other beautiful sea life and if you’re lucky, maybe some treasure! All of our itineraries are completely custom but the Caves makes it on our guest’s itinerary at least 3 times a week. Norman Island is also home to the floating bar and restaurant, The Willy T. Stop for lunch, grab a drink or just do a quick jump off the top of this 100 foot schooner. This island is small but packs a punch for those of you looking for their own little Treasure Island.

Below are a few pictures of groups that have used our St. Thomas boat rental and gone to Norman Island. The first is a family having lunch at Pirate’s Bight, the second shows a cruise ship excursion group snorkeling at The Caves and the third is a brother and sister duo taking the plunge off the top of the Willy T. If these photos aren’t convincing, I don’t know what is!
So, if you’re visiting St. Thomas and want to spent a day in the British Virgin Islands, this island is a must-see. Our St. Thomas boat charters are super comfortable with seating for everyone in your group and we’ll get you to all of your destinations safely and quickly. After you’ve had your fair share of fun on Norman Island, we will continue on to the rest of the adventure whether it be Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Spit, Tortola or one of the other many options.
